In memory of Helena Prikryl

Image
Helena Prikryl, age 51, passed away on December 1, 2025, in Loveland, Colorado. Helena was born on January 23, 1974, in Olomouc, Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic). She wrote, “Nothing is more important in life than the relationships and connections we make with others and the Earth, so we can do the right thing by one another.” She believed that compassion and love are the truest measures of wisdom, that progress means little without morality, and that kindness, offered to all living beings, is felt even when it goes unseen. Helena was happiest when those around her were happy and she believed that a more just world begins with care for others. This blog was created to share some of her writings. Helena is survived by her parents, Jarmila and Ivan; her sister Jana; and her uncle JindÅ™ich. A memorial will be held in the spring 2026, a season of renewal and hope that reflects her lifelong commitment to kindness and compassion.

I Am the World

I AM  the  WORLD                                                          Do you think that you are more intelligent?                                                                                    Than you are arrogant.                                     ...

In many ways people are “blind” but true love is not. Love has no borders no bigotry. Bigotry is caused by arrogance or fear, by those who lack control and think they should have it over others. If you want TRUE control over others make them love you,… but true love (based on the truth and not lies) can NEVER be forced. But have faith, IT IS OURSELVES  WE CREATE. The environment that WE CREATE and our leaders are VERY powerful they dictate morality (or immorality). We MUST use this power wisely and not selfishly because we live in a specialized society-- everyone is “blind” in a different way. Life is like a ‘rich’ painting and would be very boring if we were all the same, but the color does come off (physically and mentally) if you are a slave. And many people think they are not racist, sexist, anti-gay, anti-disabled, anti-children or elderly, or anti-animal, but look at the global inequality! Education of compassion by reaching another person’s  emotions is the answer to a ...

Look at the animal kingdom brutality! “Let Hercules himself do what he may. The cat will mew, and the dog will have his way” WS.  Ignorance (or evil) have no remorse, but then we might as well be animals. Only with people, collectively, it turns into something much worse than a “7-headed dragon”; if you infect a wound to this beast it does miraculously recover (corporations and countries have no souls). We can choose to be humans beings. “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” JC.  Look at the world, today, and ask yourself, is it a lack of intelligence or is it arrogance causing excessive selfishness that HURTS the people and other living things around us? Unlike most animals, people almost always know when they hurt another living thing, at least physically if not mentally. And if we would try to be less arrogant and selfish we would also know when we hurt another living thing mentally. What is the difference between hurtin...

What do you get out of life if your not feeling it along the way. Consciousness is instantaneous feeling of oneself and self-awareness is knowing it. No human is completely self-aware, and therefore in control , only love is. In many ways people are blind but true love is not. If we help other people and living things, they may not even know it, but they will feel it, and we will also. Some living things including human babies are not self-aware like adult humans but they still possess consciousness so this means they can feel. And if we see or will see other people and living things as 'ants', because they only possess consciousness but are not self-aware, Mother Nature (has no soul) will bury us mentally; we will lose our ability to possess true love. Why? because God exists in all living things that have consciousness. And if we love God we will see God in ourselves and other living things. First Commandment. And the more you understand God, the more you will know when ...
